Hi, I’m Steffanie Monae’ — a fashion lover, wife, mom, creator, and the woman behind Shop Jayla.
Fashion has always been more than clothes for me. I studied Fashion Merchandising and Marketing at San Francisco State University, and after 15+ years of styling, creating, evolving, and figuring out my own personal style, I’ve learned that getting dressed isn’t about constantly buying more. It’s about knowing what works for you and building a wardrobe that makes your real life feel a little more put together.
And real life is exactly what you’ll find here.
I’m raising my family, building a brand from home, chasing some pretty big dreams, and still figuring things out along the way. Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I’m also trying to make time for the woman I am outside of the roles I carry.
That’s what Steffanie Monae’ is about.
I share wearable style, thoughtful wardrobe advice, motherhood, the behind-the-scenes reality of building something of your own, and the lessons I’m learning along the way.
My hope is that when you leave here, you feel inspired to get dressed, use what you already own, try something new, keep going after what you want, or simply make a little more room for yourself.
