A Casual Day!

I mostly do not wear jeans without holes (lol), but today jeans with holes would not have worked with my schedule! I’m also more of a high heel kind of girl but balancing my kids schedule, work and whatever else I have going on, sometimes a flat just makes more sense… but it has to be stylish! It’s Saturday!!! I grew up in Oakland, CA and became a mother to a beautiful girl in my late teen’s. Who is now a Tween! It is important to me to be a woman my daughter can always look up to. A woman who possesses drive, integrity, intelligence and so much more. I also, find it important to be a woman that can empower other women. I want to help women strive daily toward being the best version of themselves. There is so much beauty in being the women God created us to be. I hope as I continue to grow and challenge myself it will inspire other women. Throughout my life, I have had my share of ups and downs, wins and losses but in the words of the famous poet Mya Angelou, “Still I rise”. So, in theory, this blog isn’t just for you, it’s for us. This platform is a representation of me leaping. As I journey through life, my faith, family and a keen sense of style are always constant.
