Girls Night Out!

Being a mother is the most important aspect of my life. I receive all my joy, trials, and challenges from being a mother. I entered motherhood young, so I set my expectation for myself high. Everything I do is for the love of my child. It is hard becoming a woman and coming into your own when trying to balance life as a mom. It’s important to me to be true to myself but in a way that I am still the reflection of a woman my baby girl can admire and look up to. It is not an easy journey but it has so far been a journey well worth it! Happy Monday everyone!

I grew up in Oakland, CA and became a mother to a beautiful girl in my late teen’s. Who is now a Tween! It is important to me to be a woman my daughter can always look up to. A woman who possesses drive, integrity, intelligence and so much more. I also, find it important to be a woman that can empower other women. I want to help women strive daily toward being the best version of themselves. There is so much beauty in being the women God created us to be. I hope as I continue to grow and challenge myself it will inspire other women. Throughout my life, I have had my share of ups and downs, wins and losses but in the words of the famous poet Mya Angelou, “Still I rise”. So, in theory, this blog isn’t just for you, it’s for us. This platform is a representation of me leaping. As I journey through life, my faith, family and a keen sense of style are always constant.
