Denim on Denim Thursday

It’s really Thursday… My how the time fly’s! I remember the days when I couldn’t wait for Friday. Now a days I’m into utilizing everyday to its full potential! Nothing worst than not reaching your daily, weekly and monthly goals! Any who, there Is so much new with me. Starting today I vow to post 3 days a week (lol, I know again right ? well yes, and since I have said it here I have to stick to it). What’s next, Youtube, I’ve said it and I’ve said it but this time its for real. I will be doing a fall lookbook, so be on the lookout for that! Shopjayla.com is gearing up for fall statement pieces, so that is new and very exciting. And last but never least Jay Bird is going back to school!!! Jay being just like her mother is taking back to school shopping very seriously… oh no!!! But the kid does good in school so she deserves it all! I have a busy and hopefully productive day today. I grew up in Oakland, CA and became a mother to a beautiful girl in my late teen’s. Who is now a Tween! It is important to me to be a woman my daughter can always look up to. I want to help women strive daily toward being the best version of themselves. There is so much beauty in being the women God created us to be. I hope as I continue to grow and challenge myself it will inspire other women. Throughout my life, I have had my share of ups and downs, wins and losses but in the words of the famous poet Mya Angelou, “Still I rise”. So, in theory, this blog isn’t just for you, it’s for us.
