Last week was jam-packed, and I loved it. I spent the week in Vegas learning and indulging my mind with all types of great knowledge and inspiration. I am attending business seminars, fashion events, tradeshows and more. In addition to that, I had the chance to connection with young black women entrepreneurs such as myself who have been experiencing similar ups and downs of being a new business owner. Sometimes you need like minded people (in your industry) who you can converse with, in your corner.
What’s even crazier is at first I talked myself out of attending the event, but at the last minute I had a change of heart, which I am so glad I did! Its important to be involved and completely invested in your industry. Being around the people in my industry was uplifting, I come home feeling refreshed, renewed and ready to hit the ground running!
Any who, its Monday and its Jay’s first day of school! She and I are more than ready to get back at it!
