Mother’s Day Recap
I do hope everyone had a beautiful Mother’s Day! Mine was full of love, laughter, and joy. The best part of Mothers Day and all holidays is being blessed to spend quality time with good people.
The start of mothers day was a little dicey. A party of 10 arriving late on mothers day equals a lost reservation. Starving like my name is Marvin, you can imagine my irritation level when being told we had a 3 to 4-hour wait! Never the less, as in all things, it worked it’s self out! The things we stress over are rarely worth it!
The men of my family truly know their women! After brunch, we arrived at Wente vineyards for wine tasting and fun. For me its the little things that count! Ending my Mother’s day at Costco to get new pillows and king crab for dinners was the ultimate grand finale.
“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” -Robert Brault
A Relaxing Weekend
I don’t know about you, but this weekend was truly Mothers Day all weekend long. For the first time in a long time, I didn’t do much (Well, not as much as I usually do. Your girl often is doing way too much! ). lol, and I am not mad about it! Friday night was date night and maybe it left me feeling tired from being up late after a long week of work. But it was worth it! So, Saturday I chilled, ran a few errands, kicked it with family and did absolutely nothing pertaining to work! A break much needed!

About the Look:
You know me, I am a true lover of the dress over anything trend. This cute Zara dress is perfect for this trend. The Zara dress is intended to be worn over other pieces. This piece comes sheer without lining, so you can literally pair it with anything. I imagine for my trip to the Bahamas, this Zara dress will look great over an all-white swimsuit, Can’t wait!
Until Next Time
Today, I’m keeping it short and sweet. As I said earlier, I do really hope you had an amazing Mothers day! I wish you a great start to your week!
Love and Blessings,
Steffanie Monae
