Hey and welcome to my Blog! My name is Steffanie Monae. I’m a San Francisco, Bay Area native and an SFSU alumnus with a Bachelors of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. I have over 13 Years of Fashion Styling experience and currently, work as a Personal Stylist, Fashion and Lifestyle blogger.
I love being a Personal Stylist, Fashion and Lifestyle blogger because it provides me the opportunity to help women feel empowered. There are many ways to empower women and I have been blessed with the ability to do that as both a Stylist and blogger. And, for that I am thankful!
Ok, enough about all the facts and professional information blah, blah, blah. Let’s talk about why this blog platform means so much to me.
I grew up in Oakland, CA and became a mother to a beautiful girl in my late teen’s. Who is now a Tween! It is important to me to be a woman my daughter can always look up to. A woman who possesses drive, integrity, intelligence and so much more. I also, find it important to be a woman that can empower other women. I want to help women strive daily toward being the best version of themselves. There is so much beauty in being the women God created us to be.
I hope as I continue to grow and challenge myself it will inspire other women. Throughout my life, I have had my share of ups and downs, wins and losses but in the words of the famous poet Mya Angelou, “Still I rise”. So, in theory, this blog isn’t just for you, it’s for us. This platform is a representation of me leaping.
As I journey through life, my faith, family and a keen sense of style are always constant. Personal Style has been my love since forever and it is my personal, peaceful outlet. That is why a career as a Personal Stylist, Fashion and Lifestyle blogger is considered a blessing.
