In Commemoration Of My Birthday
In commemoration of my 30 something Birthday and yes, I am in my 30’s which comes to a surprise to most. Crazy old me used to get annoyed with the constant shock of my age, but the older I get the more I learn to embrace it! Yes, lord please keep me looking forever youthful like J.Lo and Gabrielle Union-Wade! I thought today, my actual Birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME) would be a fun time to share, 10 Things you may not know about me! Let’s dive in!

10 Things You May Not Know About Me
1. Mother Of Two
When I was 20 years old (a baby), I had my first child who is now 12 years old. At 23 years old, my boyfriend of now 9 years had a son who is now 8 Years old and he is the best bonus Kid a girl can have. Both Kids are equally cool, and I feel blessed to be apart of their lives!
2. Personal Stylist for 13 Years Plus
I have 13 years of Personal Styling under my belt. Geesh, doesn’t time fly! This is something that I just recently started to pursue full time, and I often ask myself why I did not have the confidence to do it sooner? For me, it’s one of the best careers a girl could have. I work with both men and women, but empowering women through finding and celebrating their personal style really is my jam!

3. Im Officially 32 Year Old
July 29th is my born day! And today is your girls 32nd Birthday! At 32, I feel things are much clearer to me. I would love to go down a list of things I learned, but we would literally be here all day, lol. Instead, I leave you with this. At 32, I commit to being honest with myself and Not being afraid to go after what is already mine! It is my life goal, as long as God keeps blessing me with more years, to continue working on being the best version of myself!
4. A True Sugar Addict
Ok, this is actually a problem, and I am dead serious when I say there should be rehab programs for sugar addicts. One of my goals for 32 is to kick this habit (well, maybe not completely!). I want to be precise, I don’t just love all sugar, I love sour, sugary candy to be exact. You know like Sour Belts? But the real ones from Sweet Factory and It’s Sugar. It all started when I was little. My dad use to take me to a coffee shop in Oakland called How Sweet It Is. Dad would get his daily coffee fix, and I would get my daily sugar fix. And there it was, History in the making!
5. Dream Dog
My Dream Dog for my Family, is A Red Toy Poodle. Jay and I have wanted this dog for a while, but when we found out she was epileptic, it became more apparent that this “dream dog”, is the right dog for us. However, with a dog comes many responsibilities. At age 32, I am more optimistic that my schedule will free up allotting me more flexibility and the opportunity to be a great mom to our Poodle! Of course, we’ve already named her.
6. Before For Fashion There Was
Before I loved fashion, I loved the Mic. A singer is what I wanted to be. You could not have told me I wasn’t going to be a singer of some sort. To major in Music vs. Fashion was the hardest decision to make, but as my child started to grow I thought chasing a dream of becoming a singer was too risky, so instead, I decided to major in fashion because that was much more secure ( That was entirely a joke! ).
7. B-Hive
Speaking of singers, I am definitely apart of the B-Hive. I am a lover of all things, Beyonce! So, Yes, she can do no wrong in my book. And if she is wrong, lol I am not here for the negativity. I love Beyonce’ as an artist, but most of all, I admire her drive. She gives me so much life! She is a real living example that consistency, self-discipline, and hard work really pays off.
8.Wine Lover
Along with sugar, another vice I have & I love is wine. This Vice, however, I am not trying to kick! According to the Mediterranean diet, a glass a day (similar to an Apple a day, keeps the doctors away or something like that, lol) is healthy! But, do not go quoting me. I, however, choose to follow this diet for many other great reasons, the occasional Red Wine is just a plus!
9. Fun Facts
In High School, I was voted best dress all 4 years. I should have seen the signs that I was destined to be a Personal Stylist, lol. Fashion, for me, has always been an outlet. It is one of my favorite ways to express myself.
“Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak” ― Rachel Zoe.
10. Professional Dancer
In my head, I am a professional Dancer. Not like a “Players Club” Dancer but more of a Ciara, Teyana Taylor or Beyonce’ type of dancer. At home in my Room, I be killing it, no lie! Learning how to be a bomb dance who can just drop into the splits is something I will do in this lifetime!
